- Wire gauge: 3 x 1 mm² to 3 x 5mm².
- Maximum permissible intensity: 16A
Cable clamping: with M24 cable glands, with silicone gaskets.
- Maximum diameter of round cables: 8 or 10mm depending of gaskets
- Size limit of flat cable outputs: from 10 x 3 to 13 x (Comes with a set of different diameters).
- Excellent cable retention by stainless steel saddle at the 3 ends.
Sealing: supplied with 5 red plastic ties for use in the sealing holes.
Easy assembly: Assembly is made with full access to terminals when cover is removed.
Flat Cables assembly operations
Cut the flat cable, slide on it the cable gland nut and the gasket. Remove insulation as requested by drawing. Let the braid around the cable.
Pass the cable through the cable gland, then assemble the braid in one or 2 wires.
Remove the flat cable saddle and the connector terminal screws.
Put the 2 terminal screws on the wires and tighten them.
Put the flat cable saddle and tighten its screws.
Slide the flat cable gasket into the cable gland and tighten the nut. Connect the second flat cable the same way.
Round cable assembly operations
Remove insulation on round cable as requested by drawing. Eventually, put cable shoes or tin solder on naked ends. Slide the cable gland nut and gasket on the cable.
Put the neutral and line wires inside the screw terminals and tighten them.
Put the ground wire inside the ground terminal and tighten the screw.
Slide the round cable gasket into the cable gland and tighten the nut. Shut the enclosure, tighten the 4 cover screws. Mount the connection box on its place, and fix it with wall mounting legs or cable tie.

Heat tracing applications
To reflect the maximum temperatures allowed by the insulating polymers, the powers of flexible heating cables are generally between 5 and 30W/meter, exceptionally 40W/m and 60W/m for self-regulating cables. -
